Responsibilities
Our client is a major global bank, they have an exciting Mainframe based project that is seeking the best systems programmers we can find. These are contract positions, and yearly renewal of contract for suitable professional is not an issue. We are seeking qualified Systems Programmers worldwide.
Key areas of Mainframe skill we are looking for:
MVS Systems Programmer for Z/OS .
CICS support specialist .
DFSMS and Storage specialist .
Job Scheduling and automation – Ops/MVS, Ansible, Python .
Your MF skill is a much sought after asset. I would like to hear from you if you have the skills and experience outlined above, even if you have retired or planning a return to Hong Kong or considering coming to HK to work from China . Key Responsibilities:
1. You will be a member of a large MF support team worldwide, but based in HK. You will be dealing with operational issues, software maintenance, planning, evaluation, upgrade, and support of the MF and associated sub-subsystems.
2. Interact with other team members locally and internationally on MF issues in general.
3. Planning for the success of the bank in the foreseeable future.
4. Communicate with vendor on issues and requirements.
5. Manage future requirements and capacity needs, propose and implement solutions.
6. Manage system performance and tuning.
Required Skills:
Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in MF system administration, and storage management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- At least five years of experience in MF support role
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Team player with a proactive mindset.
- Fluent in Cantonese and English. Knowledge of Mandarin will be an advantage.
Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in MF system administration, and storage management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
