About the Company

The HR Executive will support the end-to-end HR function for the manufacturing site in Singapore, with a full spectrum including payroll management, compliance, and operational HR excellence. The role will work closely with site leadership to drive efficient HR operations, ensure statutory compliance, and support workforce engagement in a production environment.

The HR Executive will support the end-to-end HR function for the manufacturing site in Singapore, with a full spectrum including payroll management, compliance, and operational HR excellence.


Responsibilities

Full-Spectrum Payroll Management

  • Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for site employees (including shift workers, operators, and staff).
  • Ensure accurate computation of:
  • Overtime, shift allowances, variable pay, bonuses
  • CPF contributions, SDL, IR8A/IR21 tax filings
  • Liaise with external payroll vendors (if applicable) to validate payroll outputs.
  • Handle payroll-related queries, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore statutory requirements and internal audit standards.


HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including employment contracts and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors or equivalent).
  • Administer employee benefits, insurance, and leave management.
  • Support work pass applications (WP, S Pass, EP) in collaboration with MOM guidelines.


Industrial Relations & Employee Engagement

  • Act as a point of contact for employee matters on-site.
  • Support employee relations cases, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
  • Work with supervisors and managers to address workforce issues in a timely manner.
  • Organize employee engagement initiatives and site communication activities.


Compliance & Policies

  • Ensure adherence to Singapore Employment Act and MOM regulations.
  • Maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with company standards.
  • Support internal and external audits (payroll, HR compliance, ISO if applicable).


Reporting & Data Management

  • Prepare HR and payroll reports (headcount, overtime, absenteeism, attrition).
  • Analyze HR metrics to support manpower planning and cost control.
  • Maintain data integrity in HR systems.


HR Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in HR digitalization initiatives, process improvements, and system enhancements.
  • Support regional or global HR initiatives rolled out at site level.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline payroll and HR processes.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience, with hands-on payroll processing in Singapore.
  • Experience in manufacturing, plant, or industrial environment preferred.


Strong knowledge of:

  • Singapore payroll regulations (CPF, IRAS, MOM)
  • Employment Act and statutory compliance
  • Experience with HRIS systems (SuccessFactors preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, payroll reconciliation).

Competencies

  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, operational environment.
