Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Executive to support the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of our institution. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting the Finance Manager in achieving the institution's financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, receipts, and journal entries.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management accounts.
• Support budgeting and cash flow monitoring.
• Process payroll and ensure timely statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
• Prepare supporting documents for audits and liaise with external auditors when required.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and filing systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Malaysian financial regulations.
• Perform other finance and administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant working experience (Fresh graduates with strong academic results are encouraged to apply).
• Knowledge of accounting principles and Malaysian statutory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in the education sector is an added advantage.
