Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Developer to support the Channels & Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) systems within a Core Banking environment. This role involves application development, Level 2 (L2) support, and maintenance of AS400-based systems, ensuring the reliability of payment applications and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 (L2) support for Channels & EAI applications on AS400.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using RPG, C, and Java.
• Support and troubleshoot payment systems to ensure smooth transaction processing.
• Assist with application deployment and automation using ALDON on AS400.
• Apply DevOps practices to improve development and release processes.
• Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and deliver system enhancements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for applications, processes, and system changes.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in application development and/or production support.
• Hands-on experience with AS400 (IBM i) and DB2 databases.
• Proficiency in RPG, C, and/or Java programming.
• Experience providing Level 2 (L2) application support, including incident management and issue resolution.
• Good understanding of Channels & Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) systems.
• Familiarity with payment processing applications and transaction flows.
• Basic knowledge of DevOps practices and software delivery processes.
• Experience using ALDON for application deployment and release management.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a Core Banking environment.
• Understanding of system integration and middleware technologies.
• Exposure to automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of banking operations, payment systems, and regulatory requirements.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,400.00 per month
