About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented NOC Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the 24x7 monitoring, fault management, incident handling, and service assurance of our Radio Access Network (RAN), Transmission/Transport infrastructure, Enterprise Services, and Security Operations. You will play a key part in maintaining network availability, service continuity, and security visibility while driving timely incident resolution in line with KPIs and SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Monitoring: Monitor and manage alarms, events, and ticketing systems for RAN, Transmission, Transport, and Enterprise Services.
• Troubleshooting: Perform first-level fault isolation for LTE, 5G, Microwave (MW), Fiber, and transport network issues.
• Incident Management: Execute corrective actions, coordinate with support teams, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Performance Analysis: Conduct audits, monitor KPIs, and proactively identify degradation or capacity issues.
• Escalation Handling: Escalate critical incidents, notify stakeholders, and maintain end-to-end ownership until resolution.
• Shift Operations: Provide accurate updates during handovers and follow up on alarms, events, and tickets.
• Collaboration: Work closely with RAN, Core, IP, Transmission, Field Operations, and Vendor teams to resolve complex issues.
• Security Monitoring: Monitor SIEM, SOC, NMS, and security dashboards; triage alerts, validate threats, and escalate incidents.
• Compliance: Maintain detailed incident logs, shift reports, and ensure adherence to

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field.

Experience

• At least 1 year in a Network Operations Center (NOC) Telecommunications
• Exposures in cybersecurity
• Transmission/Transport, or Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
• Hands-on experience in monitoring and troubleshooting LTE, 5G, Microwave, Fiber, and Transport networks is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of LTE and 5G network architecture and performance indicators.
• Knowledge of Microwave (MW), Fiber Optic, and Transmission technologies.
• Familiarity with fault management, alarm monitoring, ticketing systems, and incident processes.
• Ability to interpret KPIs and service performance diagnostics.
• Experience with NMS/EMS platforms and telecom monitoring tools is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of SIEM platforms, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and cybersecurity incident handling.
