RPA Developer (UiPath)

Placement: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Onsite)

Employment Type: Full-time (Contract) 12 Months

The Opportunity

We are looking for a passionate Robotic Automation Specialist to join our client’s Automation team. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, develop RPA solutions, and support digital transformation initiatives.

You'll be involved throughout the entire automation lifecycle—from business analysis and solution design to development, deployment, and continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to AI technologies, Generative AI, Copilot tools, and intelligent automation solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Gather, analyze, and validate automation requirements with business stakeholders.
• Design, develop, deploy, monitor, and support RPA solutions using UiPath.
• Document business processes, workflows, and exception handling.
• Conduct feasibility studies and recommend automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and support teams throughout project delivery.
• Develop automation logic using VB.NET within UiPath.
• Review automation code to ensure quality, security, and best practices.
• Utilize scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell to support automation.
• Manage source code using version control tools such as Git or SVN.
• Prepare Process Definition Documents (PDD), Solution Design Documents (SDD), and technical documentation.
• Implement additional automation platforms such as Power Automate, UiVision, or Microsoft Copilot where applicable.
• Explore and evaluate emerging technologies including Generative AI and Agentic AI.
• Monitor automation performance, ROI, and business impact.
• Contribute to automation governance, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in RPA, Automation, or Software Development.
• Experience with UiPath and the RPA development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Python, VB.NET, C#, VBA, PowerShell
• Experience using version control tools (Git or SVN).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
