A Cloud Architect in a bank designs, implements, and governs secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), ensuring alignment with strict regulatory, security, and compliance standards. They bridge business requirements with technology, defining the cloud roadmap, automating workflows, and guiding teams on cloud-native architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Strategy & Design: Develop multi-cloud or hybrid infrastructures, ensuring compliance with banking security standards.
• Secure Infrastructure: Lead the design and implementation of highly secure, resilient, and compliant cloud architectures.
• Technical Leadership: Guide DevOps engineers in adopting cloud-native tools, microservices, and automation technologies.
• Migration & Optimization: Lead the migration of legacy applications to the cloud and optimize existing cloud systems for performance and cost.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all cloud services align with financial regulations and audit requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Substantial experience in cloud architecture and designing complex enterprise solutions, particularly in finance.
• Cloud Platforms: Expert knowledge in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Alibaba Cloud.
• Security & Networking: Strong understanding of security principles (e.g., encryption, identity management) and network architecture.
• Certifications: Professional certification in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect).
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
