Company Overview

Incorporated in 1996, the company specializes in supplying fresh and frozen pork. Its operations include food manufacturing, cold storage, wholesale distribution, and import. Products include free-range pork, fresh and frozen pork, and delicatessen items like hams and sausages.

Job Summary

Manage inventory and warehouse operations to ensure accurate stock control, proper storage, and timely reporting within a fresh and frozen pork supply environment.

Responsibilities

Record daily product values to maintain accurate inventory data
Monitor packaging material balances and place orders to ensure uninterrupted supply
Oversee daily receiving processes and ensure proper storage of goods to maintain quality
Conduct monthly stock checks and reconcile inventory to identify discrepancies
Prepare monthly reports on product values for management review
Manage and print ingredient labels to comply with product requirements
Handle inventory management of staff uniforms to ensure availability
Provide support to the manager on ad hoc tasks to facilitate smooth operations
Work independently in a manufacturing and chilly environment handling fresh meat and processed food
Handle heavy loads safely as part of daily warehouse duties

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Experience of at least 1 year in inventory or warehouse management roles
Knowledge of MS Office applications to support reporting and documentation
Forklift license is an added advantage but not essential for core duties
