Job Summary

Conceptualize and develop architectural designs from concept through schematic stages, ensuring feasibility and compliance with regulatory standards. Lead client engagement and coordinate with consultants and authorities to deliver high-quality project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present concept and schematic architectural designs to meet project objectives
• Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate design proposals and inform decision-making
• Prepare comprehensive tender documentation, including schedules and material specifications, to support procurement and construction phases
• Engage proactively with clients to discuss project requirements, address concerns, and align design solutions
• Oversee on-site construction progress, identify and resolve issues to maintain project timelines and quality standards
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant authorities’ regulations and quality benchmarks
• Coordinate submissions and approvals with local authorities and collaborate with consultants to facilitate smooth project execution
• Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to design intent and regulatory requirements

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Architecture recognized by the Board of Architects Singapore

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficiency in computer-aided design software including AutoCAD, REVIT, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Google Sketchup, and Microsoft Office
• Project management skills demonstrated through effective coordination and timely delivery of architectural projects
• Strong communication skills to facilitate client interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to conceptualize and present design ideas clearly and persuasively
