Job Description
- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with standard recipes while ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
- Perform pre-preparation checks on ingredients to ensure freshness, quality, and compliance with food safety standards
- Handle portioning, plating, and packing of food items, ensuring accuracy and quality during service periods
- Monitor and manage hot holding equipment (e.g., food warmers, cabinets) while maintaining proper temperature logs and food sample records
- Provide on-the-ground support during meal service to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Uphold cleanliness and organization across kitchen areas, including equipment and workstations, in line with hygiene SOPs
- Adhere strictly to food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures at all times
- Proactively contribute to process improvements and adopt new practices to enhance kitchen efficiency and service quality
What are we looking for?
- Min. 1 year of relevant experience in a kitchen, food preparation, or similar environment
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Team player with the ability to supervise or guide junior kitchen staff when required
- Good awareness of cleanliness and food handling best practices
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve
- Able to follow instructions and work independently when required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,200.00 per month
