UWCSEA Dover is seeking a Facilities Assistant (AV) to join our Facilities Team.

Reporting to the Facilities AHOD Soft Services & Customer Service Executive (AV). Ensuring AV setup requirements for all events and performances across Dover Campus.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist in executing AV and technical requirements for College events & classrooms AV needs.
• Setup, operate and troubleshoot all AV, projection, lighting and conferencing equipments, devices and systems
• Ensure all audio visual equipments are operational, clean, well kept and maintained
• Assist the Facilities team in operating AV systems
• To adhere to Standard Operating Procedures / guidelines and comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Assist as required with any other related tasks assigned by the AHOD Soft Services & Customer Service Executive (AV)
• Inventory Management.

Person Specifications

• Certification or Diploma in Audio-Visual, Information Technology or Engineering in the Electronics or Electrical fields.
• Minimum 2 years experience supporting events and AV teams
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
• Scissor Lift licence or Work at Height certifications will be preferred to confidently operate Scissors and Vertical-mast lift equipments safely
• Basic working knowledge of electrical practice and theory
