Job Responsibilities

Equipment

• Ensure injection molding machines operate without technical breakdowns.
• Manage molding equipment spare parts and inventory.
• Analyze equipment downtime and implement improvement plans.
• Perform scheduled preventive and periodic maintenance on molding equipment.

Process

• Lead molding technicians and operators to produce defect-free parts.
• Resolve molding quality issues before QA approval.
• Troubleshoot and solve daily molding process problems.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and Operating Instructions (OI).
• Support production planning to reduce mold setup/changeover downtime.
• Develop and update Process Flow and Operating Instructions for new and existing products.
• Set and optimize process parameters for new molds/tooling.
• Work closely with tooling engineers to improve mold performance.
• Update routing information for molded and secondary parts in Power Link.

Other Responsibilities

• Follow workplace safety regulations and maintain 5S standards.
• Handle customer complaints related to molding and provide responses within 3–5 working days.
• Support ISO and customer audits.
• Lead weekly molding WIP (Work-In-Progress) inventory counts.
• Train and develop molding technicians and operators.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports to the Head of Department.
• Achieve departmental KPIs.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an injection molding manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience in:
• Injection molding process setup and optimization.
• Mold troubleshooting, repair, and replacement.
• Repair and replacement of machine parts.
• Process improvement and production support.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
