1. Responsible in all aspects of Kitchen Department operations.

2. Ensuring work performed meet the established policies and procedures to achieve the highest levels of guest satisfaction.

3. Maintain effective communication with other related department with regards to kitchen matter, promotions and events.

4. Ensure the cleanliness in the kitchen, including the floors, countertops, and equipment. Conduct proper sanitation practices to prevent food contamination and adhere to health and safety regulations.

5. Prepare a wide variety of dishes including breakfast, lunch, dinner, ala carte and banquet event.

6. Ensure quality control on preparation and production including taste, texture portioning, colour and overall presentation of all food served.

7. Responsible for monitoring and order of market list, requisitions and inter kitchen transfer to ensure sufficient stocks for daily operations.

8. Oversees steward in cleaning of kitchen equipment, such as ovens, stoves, refrigerators, and dishwashing machines. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the appropriate department.

9. Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety. Ensure that ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled safely.

10. Ensure effective inventory management activities such as stock control, stock monitoring and stock purchase for smooth daily operations.

11. To perform all other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager,Sous Chef & Chef De Partie.

Job Requirements:

1. Must possessed at least Higher Secondary/SPM/STPM/Diploma/Degree related to the field

2. At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

3. Able to work in rotation shifts, on call and during weekends and public holiday

4. 6 working days with 1 day off.

5. Malaysian Citizen only.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,900.00 per month
