Role Overview
The Private Client Manager is responsible for cultivating, managing, and growing a portfolio of high‑value clients, including collectors, investors, UHNWIs, and premium hospitality partners. This role blends deep wine expertise with refined relationship management, commercial acumen, and luxury‑grade service.
The ideal candidate is a polished communicator who understands the psychology of premium buyers, anticipates client needs, and curates personalised wine solutions that elevate both experience and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
- Build, nurture, and expand long‑term relationships with private clients, collectors, and high‑net‑worth individuals
- Conduct personalised consultations to understand client preferences, cellaring goals, and investment interests
- Provide tailored recommendations across fine wine, rare allocations, en primeur, and exclusive releases
- Maintain regular touchpoints through calls, tastings, events, and bespoke client engagements
Sales & Portfolio Growth
- Drive revenue through proactive client outreach, targeted offers, and curated wine selections
- Manage client portfolios, including purchase planning, cellar building, and resale opportunities
- Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities across regions, formats, and vintages
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while maintaining brand integrity and service excellence
Product Knowledge & Advisory
- Demonstrate strong understanding of global wine regions, producers, vintages, and market trends
- Provide guidance on provenance, storage, investment potential, and drinking windows
- Collaborate with buying and operations teams to secure allocations and ensure seamless fulfilmentClient Experience & Events
- Host private tastings, dinners, and VIP events to deepen engagement and showcase key wines
- Represent the brand at industry events, trade tastings, and partner activations
- Deliver a consistently elevated, hospitality‑driven experience aligned with luxury standards
Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate CRM records, client notes, and sales pipelines
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and post‑purchase follow‑ups
- Work closely with logistics to ensure timely, accurate deliveries and exceptional after‑sales service
Pay: Up to $30,300.00 per month
