Job Responsibilities:

1. Conduct inspections/testing of finished products and environmental monitoring, ensuring accurate records and timely release in the SAP system.
2. Prepare Certificates of Analysis according to agreed specifications.
3. Ensure GLP practices in analytical/inspection functions (chemical, physical, microbiological, production on-line).
4. Provide technical training and support to production staff.
5. Perform calibration of rapid and conventional methods, as well as analytical instruments across facilities.
6. Carry out Internal Control Plans for analytical/inspection functions.
7. Manage lab inventory (media, chemicals, glassware), issue PR, and handle external lab testing.
8. Maintain lab cleanliness (5S) and review HIRAC/EAI as part of SHE requirements.
9. Deliver GMP and personal hygiene training for new employees.
10. Assist in audits for quality and safety systems.
11. Support QAQC functions including FSSC 22000, HALAL, KOSHER, and third-party audits.
12. Supervise and monitor lab assistants, assign daily tasks, and evaluate performance.
13. Participate in sensory evaluations and support QAQC Executive when required.
14. Perform any other job/function that may be assigned by superior.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree in Microbiology, Food Technology, Food Science or Science.
2. Knowledge of Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.
3. Possess Juruanalisis certificate from the Ministry of Health (MOH), Malaysia.
4. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a similar industry.
