Support MEMS Technology Development and module teams in the wafer fab for process development, characterization, and production readiness. Work closely with Manufacturing teams to run and track engineering lots, execute experiments, and maintain process quality and stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Support MEMS process and module development in the wafer fab according to engineer instructions and SOPs.
- Work with Manufacturing to follow up engineering lot movement and ensure timely completion.
- Monitor SPC charts, follow CAS procedures, and perform basic troubleshooting for OOC/OOS points.
- Support development lots and characterization runs, including shift duties when required.
- Assist engineers in process/equipment qualification and R&R runs.
- Help execute DOE experiments and accurately record process and measurement data.
- Report process issues and support continuous improvement activities.
- Follow all safety, EHS, and cleanroom rules; maintain good housekeeping.
- Act as a buddy for new technicians and support their OJT.
Job Requirements
- Nitec / Diploma / Higher Diploma in Engineering, Physics, Materials, Microelectronics, or related discipline.
- 2+ years relevant wafer fab or process technician experience (MEMS/semiconductor preferred).
- Understanding of semiconductor/MEMS processes and cleanroom operations.
- Able to follow SOPs, run tools, and handle wafers safely.
- Familiar with SPC concepts and basic data entry/annotation (DOE/SPC software experience is a plus).
- Careful, disciplined, and safety-conscious working style.
- Good communication and teamwork with engineers, operators, and cross-functional teams.
- Willing to work in shifts and support urgent development needs.
- Able to read and write technical English for reports and documentation.
