Contract Project Manager – Storage / Data Centre Projects

Location: Singapore

Employment Type: Contract / 12-month renewable

Experience Level: 10+ years

Start Date: Urgent / Immediate preferred

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager to support project delivery in Singapore. The ideal candidate should have strong experience managing storage-related projects. Candidates with solid Data Centre project delivery experience will also be considered.

This role is suitable for a hands-on PM who is able to manage stakeholders, vendors, project timelines, risks, dependencies, and delivery governance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery for storage and/or data centre related projects.
• Work closely with internal teams, clients, vendors, and technical stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, actions, and follow-ups.
• Prepare project status reports, meeting minutes, dashboards, and management updates.
• Coordinate technical teams across infrastructure, storage, data centre, network, and operations where required.
• Ensure project governance, documentation, escalation, and delivery standards are properly maintained.
• Proactively identify project risks and drive resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Support project planning, resource coordination, vendor management, and implementation activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6-8 years of project management experience, preferably in IT infrastructure environments.
• Strong experience in storage projects is highly preferred.
• Candidates with Data Centre project experience will also be strongly considered.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure project delivery, including storage, servers, network, data centre facilities, migration, implementation, or operations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with clients, vendors, engineers, and management teams.
• Good project governance, documentation, reporting, and risk management experience.
• Able to manage multiple workstreams and drive project progress independently.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or related project management certification will be an advantage.
• Candidates who are immediately available or on short notice will be preferred.

• Data Centre build, migration, refresh, relocation, or operations projects
• IT infrastructure transformation projects
• Vendor or system integrator project delivery environment
• Enterprise client-facing project management experience

Due to hiring quota issue, successful incumbent should be Singapore citizen or with Singapore permanent resident status.
