We are looking for a hands-on Fiber Engineer L2 with strong experience in fiber optic installation, termination, testing, troubleshooting, and high-density fiber management within data center or network infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, route, and manage fiber optic trunks and jumpers according to pathway and design plans.
- Perform fiber termination, splicing, cassette installation, splice tray management, and enclosure work.
- Conduct fiber testing using OTDR, OLTS, and related test equipment.
- Analyze test results and perform remediation activities including re-termination, cleaning, and rerouting.
- Manage MPO/MTP and LC fiber connectivity, polarity control, and high-density fiber infrastructure.
- Ensure connector end-face inspection, cleaning, contamination control, and adherence to fiber handling best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation for fiber routes, enclosures, labeling, and test records.
- Support quality assurance activities and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
- Follow strict safety procedures while working in data centers, overhead trays, ladders, and lift environments.

Required Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on fiber engineering experience.
- Experience in data centers, telecommunications, network infrastructure, or large-scale cabling projects.
- Strong understanding of SM/MM fiber technologies.
- Experience interpreting fiber test reports and resolving fiber-related issues.
- Familiarity with ANSI/TIA, BICSI, and industry installation standards.
