Quantity Surveyor

Job Responsibilities:

· Review tender drawings, specifications, landlord requirements, and client standards.

· Prepare tender documents comprises of BOQ, tender clarifications and unit prices etc

· Produce quantities measurement from drawings

· Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.

· Prepare quotations to clients, ensure completeness and timely submission of tender bid

· Call quotations, including analysing and evaluating for costing of tender; or negotiate and award of subcontracts for project

· Prepare / verify / upkeep of project variation work and site instructions for both subcontract and main contract works

· Finalise subcontract and main contract’s final account

· Source competitive quotes / materials / samples

· Manage procurement process and cost control

· Evaluation of price comparison and costing summary

· Maintenance of cost data management system

· Ad-hoc duties

Requirement:

· Diploma/Degree holder in Quantity Survey/Contracts Management/Architecture/Interior Design or equivalent

· Minimum 1-3 years of experience in interior fit-out, renovation, A&A works etc

· Experience working on luxury retail, boutique, or premium commercial projects is highly preferred.

· Familiarity with bespoke joinery, millwork, marble, metalwork, decorative finishes, and specialty installations is advantageous.

· Good communication, negotiation and analytical skills.

· Able to work independently under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Working location: Office

· Working days: 5 days per week

· Salary range: $3,000 - $4,800 (depends on related experience)

· Any other special requirement:

- The following candidate will not be considered:

1. Pure building construction QS without interior fit-out exposure.

2. Consultants with no contractor-side experience.

3. Residential renovation-only background.

4. Candidates with no experience handling procurement and subcontractors.
