Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Scheduling

• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand and production capacity.

• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to accommodate changes in priorities or customer requirements.

• Balance machine capacity, manpower, and material availability to maximize production efficiency.

• Ensure production orders are released on time to achieve delivery commitments.

2. Customer Order Management

• Review customer purchase orders and delivery schedules.

• Coordinate closely with the Sales and Customer Service Departments regarding delivery commitments and production priorities.

• Communicate production status and delivery updates to internal stakeholders.

• Support urgent customer requests while minimizing operational disruption.

3. Material Planning & Supplier Coordination

• Plan raw material requirements based on production forecasts.

• Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely procurement of raw materials.

• Liaise with suppliers regarding material availability and delivery schedules.

• Monitor material shortages and initiate corrective actions.

4. Internal Coordination

• Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, QA/QC, Maintenance, Logistics, and Customer Service Departments.

• Coordinate production priorities across departments.

• Resolve production bottlenecks through effective communication.

• Ensure all departments are aligned with production plans.

5. Inventory Control

• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.

• Recommend appropriate inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.

• Support inventory accuracy through regular reconciliation.

6. Production Monitoring

• Track production output against production plans.

• Analyze delays, downtime, and production variances.

• Recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve production performance.

7. Delivery Coordination

• Coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics to ensure on-time shipment.

• Ensure finished goods are available according to customer delivery schedules.

• Monitor delivery performance and customer commitments.

8. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare production schedules and planning reports.

• Monitor production KPIs.

• Maintain accurate planning records and documentation.

• Generate reports for Management review.

9. Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy and production efficiency.

• Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, ISO, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

• Participate in process improvement projects.
