Job Description:

• Supervise daily operation activities to ensure production output, product quality, and delivery schedules are achieved.
• Lead and guide operators in assembly, testing, inspection, packaging, and other operation-related activities for optical modules.
• Monitor daily operation performance and coordinate with QA, Engineering, and Production teams to resolve defects, process deviations, or operation issues.
• Ensure all operation activities comply with company SOPs, ISO standards, cleanroom requirements, ESD control, and customer requirements.
• Oversee proper handling, usage, and basic maintenance of production tools, equipment, and machines.
• Manage shift schedules, manpower allocation, attendance, and work discipline of operation staff.
• Track and report operation data, including output, yield, scrap, downtime, manpower efficiency, and other production-related metrics.
• Support continuous improvement activities such as 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
• Ensure workplace safety, good housekeeping, and compliance with company policies on the production floor.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Maintenance, and other departments to troubleshoot and resolve operation issues promptly.
• Assist the Operation / Production Manager in daily manpower planning, production planning follow-up, and operation control.
• Train, coach, and monitor operators to ensure they follow work instructions, quality requirements, and safety procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3–4 years of working experience in production, operation, or manufacturing environment, preferably in optical modules, electronics, or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Fresh graduates with strong interest in manufacturing operations are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience in supervising or leading a team in a manufacturing, cleanroom, or production floor environment.
• Knowledge of optical module assembly, fiber alignment, precision testing, or electronic manufacturing processes will be an added advantage.
• Familiar with ISO standards, SOPs, quality control practices, cleanroom requirements, and ESD control.
• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methods.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, coordination, and decision-making skills.
• Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage frontline operators.
• Able to work under pressure, meet production deadlines, and support shift work or extended working hours when required.
• Proficient in MS Office and familiar with production reporting tools. Knowledge of ERP or MES systems will be an added advantage.

Pay: From RM2,800.00 per month
