JOB PURPOSE

Technical Service and Support: This position is responsible for delivering high-quality after-sales technical support, maintenance, and repair solutions for our Medical Products. The primary objective is to maintain device efficiency and optimize clinical workflow.

Software Integration & IT: Essential duties include the end-to-end software integration and configuration during product setup. The Specialist must also possess fundamental IT troubleshooting skills to quickly resolve connectivity, network, and application issues related to our software products.

CORE JOB DUTIES

1. Technical Daily Routine

• Provide technical support for software integration with our range of Eye Care equipment, including network connectivity, data migration, software installation, software troubleshooting, and other software-related support.
• Plan, coordinate, and perform equipment installation, testing, and commissioning (T&C) at customer sites, either independently or in collaboration with other engineers.
• Prepare all after-sales service documents, including repair, calibration, and troubleshooting quotations, warranty certificates, and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) contracts.
• Respond promptly to customer breakdown calls or technical complaints via phone support or onsite visits.
• Conduct thorough analysis, evaluation, and inspection of issues to determine accurate solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Update and communicate all breakdown, warranty, or repair-related information to the service portal for escalation purpose.
• Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System [CMMS] to carry our all-repair task and provide customers with checklist and service reports in digital format.
• Plan and manage travel arrangements efficiently, including outstation trips when required.

2. Sales-Related Responsibilities

• Propose and prepare PPM contracts and recommend repair solutions that support the overall service revenue.
• Identify and pursue technical sales opportunities to achieve the assigned annual technical sales target.

3. Other Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting product application training for customers when required.
• Coordinate and support basic product demonstrations for customers.
• Assist in trade events, exhibitions, and screening programs as part of brand and product promotion activities.
• Take responsibility for credit collection related to service jobs and PPM contracts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience

• Diploma degree or Higher (With majors in Biomedical engineering or Electrical engineering preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support, software support, service engineering, or related fields (80% software & 20% hardware).

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

• Positive and Cooperative attitude.
• Willing to learn attitude.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills in hardware troubleshooting.
• MANUAL Driving License [is an advantage]

Pay: Up to $3,700.00 per month

Education:

• Local Polytechnic Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• service engineering: 2 years (Preferred)
