Job Description

• Lead the front-end and back-end engineering teams in delivering high-quality software solutions for both internal platforms and external client projects.

• Own the overall software architecture, including system design, microservices architecture, service boundaries, and technology selection.

• Lead architecture and design reviews, make key technical decisions, and proactively manage technical debt.

• Ensure software solutions are designed with scalability, performance, security, reliability, and maintainability in mind.

• Manage end-to-end software project delivery, ensuring projects are completed within scope, timeline, and quality expectations.

• Plan and manage Agile/Scrum sprints, translate business requirements into technical tasks, and allocate work across the development team.

• Mentor, coach, and develop engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing to foster a high-performing engineering culture.

• Define, implement, and enforce engineering best practices, including coding standards, Git workflows, testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, documentation, and release management.

• Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and AI-assisted development tools, with the ability to research, evaluate, and adopt relevant solutions that enhance software development practices and engineering productivity.

• Collaborate closely with clients, business stakeholders, product teams, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, innovative, and business-driven software solutions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 6 years of software development experience, with leadership experiences.

• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, MySQL, Redis, and related backend technologies (e.g. Nacos, OpenFeign, Seata, Message Queues).

• Good understanding of software architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), database design, and enterprise application development.

• Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Vue.js (preferred) or React, with a good understanding of front-end and back-end integration.

• Familiar with Agile development practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and software development best practices.

• Passionate about emerging AI technologies, with the ability to research, evaluate, and adopt AI-assisted development tools to improve software development and engineering productivity.

• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.

• Good command in English and Mandarin as this roles will required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners.
