What The Role Is

ISD confronts and addresses threats to Singapore’s internal security and stability. You will be part of a dynamic team specializing in operating Big Data platforms and Enterprise Databases. You will have opportunities for learning and discovery of new cutting-edge techniques in this specialised domain. You will experience the lifecycle of data transformation and management.

What You Will Be Working On

• Manage the data infrastructure to support data analytics on SQL and Big Data technologies
• Research, Evaluate and Implement solutions to enhance performance, availability and security of data platforms
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts and Developers to optimise using data advance technologies.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Applicants with no experience may apply.
• Experience using common scripting languages like SQL or Powershell will be preferred.
• Knowledge in technologies like Hadoop/Hive/HBase/RDBMS will be advantageous
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and able to solve or analyse problems in a systematic manner
• Able to work both independently and in a team
