Our client is looking for a Junior Customer Development Executive to support business development initiatives within the construction industry. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with developers, consultants, and government stakeholders, supporting tender opportunities, and promoting the company's services. Note for Penang role:

The Penang office is currently being established. Successful candidates will initially be based in Kuala Lumpur and travel to Penang as needed. Once the Penang office is operational (expected within 2 to 3 months), the role will require approximately 70% of working time in Penang and 30% in Kuala Lumpur.

• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Lunch break: 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM

Salary

• Flexible
• Higher salary may be considered for experienced or outstanding candidates following an interview assessment.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including tender projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, developers, and design consultants.
• Establish connections with local governments or relevant authorities.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the company and project stakeholders.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand visibility.
• Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors, and business opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project timelines and deliverables are achieved.
• Represent the company at client meetings, networking events, and industry activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in:

• Architecture
• Civil Engineering
• Quantity Surveying
• International Business or a related field
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in business development or marketing within the construction or property industry is preferred.
• Strong relationship-building skills with clients, developers, design consultants, local governments, and relevant authorities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

• Professional appearance and presentation.
• Existing local business network or industry connections are an advantage.
