The Role

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the execution of fire protection and fire alarm system projects across Singapore.

This onsite role will be responsible for project coordination, technical drawings, site supervision, testing and commissioning, documentation, and maintenance support.

CoreResponsibilities

• Project Coordination: Support daily project execution for fire protection, fire alarm, and relatedM&E systems.
• Technical Drawings: Prepare and update shop drawings, coordination drawings, schematic drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
• Quantity & Costing Support: Assist with quantity take-off, material estimation, BOQ preparation, manpower planning, and project cost estimation.
• Site Supervision: Supervise installation works and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, safety, and quality standards.
• Testing & Commissioning: Support testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and handover of fire protection, fire alarm, pumps, and control systems.
• Maintenance Support: Assist in servicing, preventive maintenance, and defect rectification for completed systems.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare project submissions, progress reports, inspection records, and handover documentation.

Candidate Profile

• Professional Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in M&E, fire protection, fire alarm, plumbing & sanitary, or building services projects.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiar with fire protection systems, fire alarm systems, site installation works, testing and commissioning, and project documentation.
• Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Added Advantage: Knowledge of PLC systems, relay control panels, control wiring, M&E quantity surveying, or maintenance servicing will be advantageous.
• Work Attitude: Responsible, independent, fast-learning, and able to work under pressure in a site-based environment.

Requirements

• Onsite role based in Singapore
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical,Electrical, Mechatronics, M&E Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant project/site engineering experience
• Able to read and prepare technical drawings
• Experience in fire protection and fire alarm systems is preferred
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
