Role Description The Business Development Executive role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Bayan Lepas, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and supporting the growth of Impact Volution’s training, consultancy, and coaching solutions. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and lead generation, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and coordinating with consultants and internal teams to tailor learning solutions that meet client needs. The role also involves tracking sales pipelines, contributing to marketing and outreach activities, gathering market insights, and ensuring effective post-sales follow-up to enhance client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in business development, client relationship management, and sales negotiation, with the ability to convert leads into long-term partnerships.
  • Experience in consultative selling, solution-based pitching, and understanding of training, coaching, or professional development services.
  • Competence in communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Ability to conduct market research, analyze client needs, and translate insights into actionable business strategies and proposals.
  • Organizational and time management skills to manage pipelines, prioritize opportunities, and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with common office productivity tools and CRM or sales tracking systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Prior experience in corporate training, HR consulting, or learning and development is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated initiative, resilience, and comfort working in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment.
