Job Description & Requirements
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Quantity Surveyor to support our subcontract works, mainly in quantity take-off, preparation of quotations, and progress claims.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-off and measurement based on drawings and project requirements
- Prepare quotations, cost estimates and tender submissions for subcontract works
- Prepare and follow up on progress claims, variation orders and final accounts
- Liaise with main contractors, suppliers and subcontractors on quotations, claims and project-related commercial matters
- Monitor and maintain proper records of quantities, quotations, claims and supporting documents
- Coordinate with site team to collect site progress records and supporting documents for claims
- Assist in cost comparison and project cost tracking where required
- Carry out other quantity surveying duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or related field
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant quantity surveying experience in the construction industry
- Experience in quantity take-off, quotation preparation and progress claims
- Familiar with variation orders, final accounts and subcontract works
- Able to work independently and handle multiple projects
- Experience in a construction subcontractor environment will be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Organised, responsible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
