About the Role:

Are you a people-person with a sharp eye for retail trends and a passion for building lasting business relationships? We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Leasing Executive to join our team at tHe Spring Shopping Mall — Sarawak’s premier retail destination.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our leasing operations: attracting the right brands, supporting our tenants, and helping shape the retail mix that keeps tHe Spring relevant, vibrant, and ahead of the curve.

Job Responsibilities:

Leasing & Tenancy Management

• Source and engage prospective tenants — from walk-in enquiries to targeted outreach for new brands and concepts.
• Support tenancy negotiations including new lettings, renewals, and terminations in line with the leasing plan and budget.
• Prepare and formalise Letters of Offer, Tenancy Proposals, and related agreements.
• Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant before tenants commence or cease trading.
• Monitor and review the tenant mix to keep The Spring competitive and aligned with market trends.
• Stay up to date with market trends, competing shopping centres, and emerging retail concepts to support leasing initiatives and identify new opportunities.

Tenant Relations & Operations

• Attend to tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests by coordinating with relevant internal departments to resolve issues and following up diligently.
• Conduct daily floor rounds to monitor outlet presentation, merchandise mix, cleanliness, and operating standards.
• Liaise with Finance, Operations, and Building Services Department on deposit collection, rentals, insurance, and maintenance requests.
• Assist with the preparation of notices, and correspondence related to tenancies.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Property Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Fresh graduate who is outspoken, articulate is encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with at least 2 years of experience in leasing, retail, or property management will have an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills — you build trust easily.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Highly organised, self-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
• A genuine interest in retail trends and the shopping mall industry.
• Willing to travel for meetings or industry events as needed.

Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
