For an upcoming drilling rig construction and reactivation project in Singapore, Peak Ocean is assembling an owner-side PMT. We are seeking a highly experienced NDT Engineer (ASNT Level 2) to serve as a Client Representative in this role.

The Role: Client Representative — NDT Engineer Inspection

As part of the Peak Ocean PMT, you will act strictly in the client's interest, reporting to the NDT Lead Engineer. Your mission is to conduct and interpret NDT examinations on critical structural and piping joints, verifying weld integrity meets specification ahead of Class certification.

• Conduct NDT examinations (UT, MPI, PT, RT) on structural, piping, and critical equipment welds.
• Interpret radiographic/ultrasonic data and record findings on technique sheets and inspection reports.
• Audit NDT field operations on critical areas of the asset, including structural nodes, piping spools, and high-pressure systems.
• Flag defective welds for repair, coordinating with the Structural/Welding Inspector team.
• Maintain NDT records and traceability logs for assigned work areas.
• Report inspection findings and progress daily to the NDT Lead Engineer.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Materials, Structural, or Marine Engineering (or equivalent technical diploma).
• Valid ASNT Level 2 certification in standard NDT methods (UT, MPI, PT, RT) is mandatory.
• Minimum 4–7 years of dedicated NDT/welding QA/QC inspection experience in the offshore marine and drilling sectors.
• Certification in advanced methods (PAUT, TOFD) is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear, factual reporting skills.
