Responsibilities:
Analyze data for next-generation magnetic recording head design.
Perform testing, characterization, and thorough failure analysis on new designs and product defects to troubleshoot technical issues.
Investigate any abnormal performance to identify root causes.
Evaluate various R&D designs through deep-dive analysis to support future product development.
Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as required.
Requirements:
Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree holder or above
Field of Study: Applied Physics / Physics / Material Science / or relevant Engineering disciplines
Years of Experience: Preferable 1 - 3 years of relevant experience
- Fresh graduates with potential will also be considered.
Knowledge of magnetic recording concepts or related phenomena.
Practical experience working or studying in an experimental field; a background in Physics is highly preferred.
Proficiency in using MS Excel and PowerPoint for professional technical use is an advantage.
Strong analytical and logical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
Adaptive and hard working to excel in dynamic research environments.
Outgoing personality with the ability to communicate smoothly across cross-functional engineering teams.
Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
