Role Description The Technical Manager role at Trescal is a full-time, on-site position based in Kuala Lumpur. This role is responsible for overseeing technical operations related to calibration services, including planning and coordinating projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and optimizing workflows and resource allocation. The Technical Manager will provide technical support to internal teams and clients, lead research and development initiatives to improve methods and service offerings, and maintain high standards of quality and safety. Day-to-day activities include managing a technical team, reviewing performance metrics, resolving complex technical issues, collaborating with other departments, and preparing reports and documentation to support continuous improvement.

- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical sciences, or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of calibration standards, metrology principles, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025) is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in regulated environments (pharmaceutical, medical, or similar industries) and familiarity with GxP and FDA requirements are an advantage.
