As a CBRE Environmental Engineer, you will be the key front line of CBRE in responding and attending to ESG matters.
This role includes supervision to ensure that the Sustainability Efforts under the Contract are rendered and performed professionally, effectively, and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure compliance with green specifications by procuring and using approved eco-labelled products and sustainable equipment.
- Monitor adherence to green building standards and certifications (e.g., Green Mark, ISO 46001, WEB), supporting renewal and compliance efforts.
- Track and analyse energy, water, and waste data, identifying anomalies and recommending efficiency improvements.
- Prepare monthly and annual sustainability reports, including utilities consumption, waste metrics, and carbon emissions (Scope 1 & 2).
- Conduct audits and compliance checks (e.g., GreenGov.SG), ensuring readiness for inspections and regulatory requirements.
- Lead waste, energy, and water management initiatives, including audits and optimisation measures for building operations.
- Implement and monitor sustainability programmes and commitments, driving continuous environmental performance improvement.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to develop resource management plans, environmental scorecards, and sustainability strategies.
- Promote sustainability awareness through engagement activities, training, and collaboration with occupants and partners.
What You’ll Need
- Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), Building Services, Facility Management, or any related technical or property management discipline, with a proven background in facility management.
- Minimally 3 years of relevant working experience in the built environment sector.
- CFME Tier 3 with SIFMA and Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP)-certified.
- Well-versed in Singapore’s environmental sustainability requirements, including applicable regulations, green building standards, and national sustainability frameworks.
