As a CBRE M&E Engineer, you will be the key Technical Personnel of CBRE in responding and attending to each Site and Client Representatives. You will oversee systems performance, lead preventive and corrective maintenance, support project upgrades, and ensure regulatory compliance for building M&E systems.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor operational performance of M&E systems across sites, identifying faults, anomalies, and system alerts for timely intervention.
- Act as the escalation point for critical system failures, coordinating troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution.
- Review contractor activities, logs, and maintenance reports to ensure compliance with schedules, quality, and safety standards.
- Lead M&E performance reviews, analysing maintenance, energy use, costs, and system reliability to drive improvements.
- Maintain and update asset registers, preventive maintenance plans, and ensure alignment with asset criticality and lifecycle requirements.
- Conduct periodic technical assessments of equipment condition, maintenance quality, and system readiness across properties.
- Provide technical input for Capex planning, lifecycle replacement, and system upgrades, including cost-benefit and risk analysis.
- Support projects, fit-outs, and upgrades by reviewing designs, ensuring maintainability, and managing HOTO processes and documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement through benchmarking, standardisation, sustainability initiatives, and technical advisory to IFM leadership.
What You’ll Need
- Degree in M&E Engineering, Building Services, Facility Management preferred with 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a Degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and implementing effective solutions.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Results-oriented with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrate high professional integrity by maintaining an objective, neutral, and collaborative approach to all workplace interactions.
