Responsibilities
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented and results-driven Project Manager to lead and drive cross-functional technology and business projects. This role goes beyond project coordination and requires an individual who takes full ownership of project outcomes, drives stakeholder engagement, manages competing priorities and ensures successful delivery against agreed timelines and objectives.
The ideal candidate possesses strong project management capabilities, sound technical understanding, excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, resolve issues proactively and drive accountability across teams. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to maintain momentum and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Strategy
Act as the key driver of Company OKRs and work closely with Digital Product Team to plan for project priorities and execution plan to ensure quality deliverables and achievement of OKRs.
Establish project schedules, determine priorities and drive the resolution of issues or defects while coordinating and aligning internal resources and stakeholder to achieve business objectives and milestones.
Stakeholder Management
Conduct regular status updates and presentations to keep stakeholders informed of project progress.
Manage expectations and negotiate solutions to address conflicting priorities, requirements and alignment.
Ownership and Execution Management
Take ownership of project delivery and drive execution against agreed milestones, timelines and business objectives.
Monitor project progress closely and follow up persistently with stakeholders to ensure commitments and deadlines are met.
Proactively identify risks, dependencies, bottlenecks and resource allocation and implement mitigation plans before they impact delivery.
Escalate critical risks, delays and decision gaps in a timely manner to maintain project momentum.
Quality Assurance and Delivery
Ensure deliverables meet the company’s quality standards and comply with insurance regulations and industry best practices.
Lead and coordinate testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation, and production deployment activities, driving issue resolution and ensuring successful implementation of technology solutions.
Innovation and Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to streamline processes or adopt new technologies to enhance project efficiency.
Contribute to the development of scalable project management frameworks tailored to a virtual insurance environment.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or related disciplines.
5–7 years of project management experience, preferably within technology, digital transformation, system implementation or business change environments.
Strong experience working within software product development environments, with hands-on expertise managing Agile delivery cycles.
Experience with consumer-facing product & app products is a plus.
Proven experience leading cross-functional projects involving both business and technical stakeholders.
Solid understanding of end-to-end system implementation processes, including development lifecycles, UAT, production deployment, and change management.
Holding a Scrum Master (e.g., CSM, PSM) or Project Management (e.g., PMP) certification is highly preferred.
Excellent communication skill with capabilities and patience to understand and balance interests of different stakeholders.
Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
