Hong Kong School Of Motoring Hiring! Full Time Engineering Manager (Property) in New Territories, Hong Kong - Ricebowl

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage the daily operations, maintenance, administration, and repairs of school and outlet properties

• Lead the technical team to carry out routine and preventive maintenance; Manage external consultants and property maintenance/ services contractors

• Manage projects of new school/outlet renovation, building repair and maintenance (R&M), alterations, additions and improvements works

• Monitor project progress and expenditures to ensure timely completion of projects within budget

• Supervise emergency maintenance works and liaise with relevant parties and stakeholders to ensure work safety during project implementation

• Prepare and control the Department’s annual budget; Oversee budget management, including forecasting, cost control, and procurement of supplies and routine services

• Propose and monitor necessary improvements, energy saving and modifications to existing E&M equipment

• Search for suitable sites for new schools and manage the acquisition, design and construction project

• Ensure compliance with the latest regulations on health, safety, environment, etc.

• Carry out any other duties as assigned by superior

Requirements :

• A recognized Higher Diploma/Degree in Property/Facilities Management, Building Services or related disciplines

• Minimum 10 years of sound technical experience in property repair and maintenance, renovation and A&A works of which at least 5 years in managerial/supervisory level

• Driving Licence is essential

• In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and professional maintenance practices

• Independent, self-motivated, flexible, responsible and able to work under pressure

• Good administrative, interpersonal, communication and team building skills

• Experience of in-house building development/maintenance will be an advantage
