Responsibilities:
- Owning the full reporting and planning cycle - monthly/quarterly/annual reports, budgets and forecasts, while leading a team to deliver these accurately and on time
- Translating business performance into insight: spotting risks, opportunities and cost/return improvements, and advising leadership on the right calls
- Driving investment decisions end-to-end from modelling, valuation, feasibility and due diligence for new ventures, M&A and capital projects
- Raising the bar on financial governance, controls and process efficiency across the Business Unit
- Acting as the go-to finance contact for auditors, tax or regulatory matters, and cross-functional teams (Treasury, Tax, Accounting, Audit)
What we're looking for
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field, with 8+ years in finance, accounting, reporting or business partnering
- Strong commercial instincts and analytical rigor, with a track record of influencing business decisions
- Proven people leadership, ideally with experience building and developing a finance team
- Comfortable presenting to and managing senior stakeholders, including non-finance audiences
- Flexible to travel or relocate overseas; experience in logistics, supply chain, ports or other asset-intensive industries a plus
