The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Public Relations Manager, based in Singapore, who will be responsible for planning and executing client communications strategies, across Mutant’s PR and Content teams.


Apart from contributing to the day-to-day client and project management, with a portfolio of consumer and corporate brands across the B2B and B2C space, you’ll take the lead in proactively managing Mutant’s top consumer and corporate PR clients, proposing communications strategies while executing them flawlessly alongside the team. You’ll also be responsible for managing their accounts profitably, as well as assisting with business development proposals when required.

What you will be doing:

  • You will be planning, implementing, analysing, and optimising all PR activities from formulation through to execution, aligning them with the client’s key business objectives.
  • You will work closely with clients and Mutant’s content & PR teams to create aligned communications across all digital channels and to ensure both strong commercial and consistent brand messages.
  • Project management and strong execution to ensure all PR activities are delivered according to the clients' budget and timelines, achieving established KPIs are your strong suit.
  • You need to keep track and evaluate KPIs according to the scope and recommend necessary adjustments to optimise overall effectiveness based on measurements.
  • You wire to combine creativity with knowledge of the media to recognise media angles and generate positive news coverage, profile pieces, and features across a broad media spectrum.
  • You will lead on brainstorming sessions and ideate workable programs for new business and upsell existing clients.
  • You have established professional relationships and/ or are willing to foster new relationships with clients, colleagues, and the media


What you need to be successful in this role:

  • You have 6+ years of experience in public relations in an agency environment.
  • You have a track record in managing PR strategies that drive clients’ business.
  • You’re no doubt a confident self-starter and able to drive conversations at the C-suite level.
  • You have a solid understanding of the issues and opportunities in the communications industry.
  • You have an excellent command of the English language.
  • You’re meticulous and hyper efficient.
  • You have experience managing clients and mentoring team members, you have a nurturing management style that fosters growth and development.
  • You have a strong understanding of the local and regional media landscape.
  • You have existing relationships with journalists in Singapore.
