Overall Job Responsibility

Performing standardized quality control checks to ensure they meet the required standard and quality. May also required to maintain calibrated test equipment, prepare test data, and identify areas for quality control improvement.

Responsibilities

• Making sure that measuring and testing equipment are set up and working correctly.
• Collecting information and writing reports on your findings to be passed on to managers.
• Reporting quality anomalies to the supervisor.
• Responsible for keeping the machines and checking areas clean and tidy (5S) and working correctly.
• Accepting or rejecting finished products according to drawing spec and requirement.

Scope of Authority

• Inspecting fabrication parts with various type of checking equipment such as Caliper , Micrometer , Height Gauge, Profile projector , Pin Gauge , Ring Gauge and High end machine - Video Measuring Machine or CMM.
• Plan inspection process monitored by QC superior based on priority , parts complexity and customer requirements.

Competency Requirements

• Minimum education - SPM.
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in Fabrication business model is required for this position.
• Required Skill(s): Well understanding of Inspection method, GD&T and control of product quality.
• Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Applicant must be willing to work in shift ( if required ).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
