We are looking for a passionate Dietitian to join our Dietetics team at Sunway Medical Centre Velocity. This role offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive nutrition care to both inpatients and outpatients, while contributing to community health initiatives and interdisciplinary clinical care.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Nutrition Care

• Provide end-to-end dietetic care including:
• Nutrition screening and assessment
• Medical nutrition therapy and dietary interventions
• Patient counselling and education
• Manage assigned inpatient wards and/or outpatient clinics independently
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions with healthcare professionals
• Support weekend/public holiday on-call duties

Community & Education

• Support and execute community nutrition programs (e.g. health talks, campaigns, workshops)
• Develop educational materials and teaching modules
• Deliver training sessions to hospital staff and stakeholders

Food Service & Quality

• Contribute to menu planning and therapeutic diet modifications
• Collaborate with F&B teams on food quality and patient meal services
• Ensure compliance with nutrition standards, food safety, and quality audits

Operations & Administration

• Maintain accurate patient records and nutrition care documentation
• Prepare and submit departmental reports (e.g. dietetics statistics)
• Participate in departmental projects, SOP improvements, and quality initiatives
• Support inventory management of nutrition products

Professional Development & Team Support

• Engage in continuous learning (CDEs, conferences, training)
• Assist in training and mentoring Dietetic Technicians/Assistants
• Act as a preceptor for trainees and students when required

Requirements & Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics (with clinical internship)
• Eligible for membership with the Malaysian Dietitians’ Association
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Knowledge in medical nutrition therapy across conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, renal diseases, oncology, gastrointestinal disorders, dysphagia, critical care nutrition and complex cases
