Job Requirements
We are looking for a dedicated Project Engineer to support the successful execution of engineering projects within the town gas, natural gas, and petrochemical industries.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in managing town gas, natural gas, petrochemical pipeline or plant projects, or asset renewal/construction projects within the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
- Certified in WSQ Supervise Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant or equivalent.
- Experience supervising Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation (ME&I) works on project sites.
- Good knowledge of engineering standards, construction practices, quality control, and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements applicable to oil & gas and process plant projects.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and construction schedules.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project documentation.
- Willing to work full-time on site. Candidates may be required to support and coordinate activities across multiple project sited when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Project Manager and assist in planning, coordinating, and executing project activities.
- Supervise and coordinate daily mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation (ME&I) works on-site.
- Ensure all site activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, quality standards, and WSH regulations.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and report project status, risks, and delays to the Project Manager.
- Review and coordinate method statements, work procedures, risk assessments, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements before site execution.
- Attend site meetings and assist in resolving technical issues and site coordination matters.
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, manpower, and subcontractor activities to support project schedules.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management.
Pay: $4,500.00 - $7,000.00 per month
