WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Warehouse IT Technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where technology, logistics, and event delivery come together.
You will play a key role in preparing, testing, managing, and supporting the technology equipment that powers conferences, exhibitions, and corporate events worldwide. Working closely with warehouse, logistics, operations, and technical teams, you will help ensure equipment is accurately prepared, fully functional, safely handled, and delivered to the highest standards for our clients.
This role combines warehouse operations with technical support responsibilities and is ideal for someone who enjoys both practical hands-on work and solving technical challenges. No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills within a growing global organisation.
THE ROLE INCLUDES
- Preparing, configuring, testing, and quality-checking IT equipment prior to dispatch
- Maintaining and organising warehouse stock, inventory, and storage locations
- Picking, packing, loading, and unloading equipment safely and accurately
- Supporting goods-in, goods-out, returns processing, and asset tracking activities
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Assisting with installation, deployment, and support of IT equipment at client sites and events when required
- Maintaining accurate inventory records, stock counts, and asset management documentation
- Ensuring all returned equipment is checked, cleaned, reset, and prepared for future use
- Following health & safety, data security, and operational compliance procedures at all times
- Identifying opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, asset utilisation, and service delivery standards
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal condition of both software and hardware components, including VR headsets, routers, printers, and other peripherals, to guarantee uninterrupted service during events.
- Proactively engage with clients to understand their evolving needs and ensure that project requirements are met satisfactorily.
- Provide responsive telephone support to users, offering technical assistance and troubleshooting guidance as required to resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor the progress of ongoing projects, promptly addressing any technical challenges or concerns that may arise to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
- Participate in various event assignments, providing on-site event technology support and engaging in face-to-face interactions with clients to represent the company professionally and ensure client satisfaction.
- Be prepared for domestic and international travel as needed to support event technology requirements, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in accommodating varying event locations.
WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED HERE…
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, IT support, event technology, or a similar hands-on environment
- Good knowledge of IT hardware including laptops, desktops, tablets, monitors, printers, and peripherals
- Basic understanding of networking concepts including Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and connectivity troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
- Experience working with inventory management, stock control, or asset tracking systems is desirable
- Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Physical ability to safely handle and move technical equipment as part of warehouse operations
- Flexibility to support event deployments, occasional travel, and out-of-hours work when required
- Valid driver's licence preferred
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences
- Ability to lift up to 30-40KGS unassisted or with minimal assistance
- Ability to stand/ walk for up to 10 hours
- Basic Microsoft Office competency
- Basic Windows/ iOS competency
