About the Role
To support our rapid business expansion in Southeast Asia, we are looking for a dynamic Technical Sales / CAD Support Engineer to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to blend technical expertise with business development, serving end-users, reseller channels, and vocational education sectors in Malaysia and Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Business Development & Sales
- Lead Generation: Identify and develop new business opportunities across Malaysia and Singapore through proactive calls, emails, and follow-ups.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospective and existing corporate clients.
- Sales Execution: Prepare proposals, quotations, and support contract negotiations to achieve assigned sales targets and drive regional revenue growth.
- Technical Consultative Support
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct high-impact product presentations and technical CAD demonstrations to address client needs.
- Solution Proposing: Understand customers' engineering/design requirements and propose suitable ZWCAD/ZW3D solutions.
- Market Insights: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and new customer demands.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Industrial), IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of working experience in the AEC or MFG industry. Prior exposure to sales activities (e.g., cold calling, client visits) is a strong advantage.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, ZWCAD, or other 3D modeling tools.
- Language Proficiency: Highly proficient in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia. (Mandarin proficiency is required to effectively communicate and support our Mandarin-speaking clients and partners.)
- Mobility: Must possess own transport and be willing to travel within Malaysia and to Singapore for client meetings.
