Job Description
- Assist the Project Engineer in supervising, coordinating, and monitoring all site activities to ensure smooth execution of works.
- Directly supervise and manage foreign workers on site, including daily task allocation, work instructions, and productivity control.
- Monitor site progress, workmanship quality, and ensure works are carried out according to drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate daily site operations, including manpower planning, material readiness, and work sequencing.
- Inspect, receive, and verify construction materials delivered to site to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of materials and tools by workers on site.
- Enforce site safety practices and ensure workers comply with all safety requirements and site rules.
- Conduct on-site briefing and provide clear instructions to foreign workers for daily tasks.
- Identify, report, and follow up on non-conformance issues related to workmanship, materials, or site practices.
- Prepare and submit daily site reports including manpower deployment, progress updates, and site issues.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to resolve operational issues and maintain work efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) and site quality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Engineer or immediate superior from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of proven working experience in high-rise construction projects or related fields is preferred.
- Candidates with prior experience in high-rise residential projects are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Experienced candidates may be considered for a senior-level position.
- Candidate must be able to relocate/travel/based at site Tanah Rata, Brinchang.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
