Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee construction activities, ensure project quality, and coordinate site operations. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at project sites.
- Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Prepare and maintain site reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Monitor site safety practices and ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) requirements.
- Resolve technical and engineering issues that arise during construction.
- Attend site meetings and provide technical support to project stakeholders.
- Verify completed works and assist with project handover processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant site engineering experience (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for Junior Site Engineer positions).
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Willing to travel and work at project sites across Malaysia.
- Possession of a valid Malaysian driving license is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with local building regulations and construction standards.
- Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures.
- Understanding of site safety regulations and risk management practices.
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
