Role Description The Audit Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in TTDI WP. Kuala Lumpur. This role involves assisting in the planning and execution of financial audits, including reviewing financial statements, testing internal controls, and evaluating compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The Audit Associate will prepare working papers, document audit findings, and support the preparation of audit reports and recommendations. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with clients to obtain necessary information, performing analytical procedures, and collaborating with senior team members to ensure timely completion of engagements. The Audit Associate is expected to maintain professional standards, adhere to firm methodologies, and contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with and interpret Financial Statements, including preparation, review, and analysis.
• Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate financial data, identify variances, and draw logical conclusions.
• Knowledge of Finance principles and practices relevant to accounting and audit engagements.
• Competence in Auditing techniques, including planning, risk assessment, and execution of audit procedures.
• Experience or training in conducting Financial Audits, preferably in a professional services environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a related field; professional certification or progress toward one (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple assignments within deadlines.
• Proficient in relevant accounting standards and regulations, and familiar with audit software or accounting systems.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, continuous learning, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of accounting and auditing practices.
