Job Summary

You will construct, install, and repair wooden and other material structures and fixtures, working closely with construction teams to deliver quality results that meet client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials accurately to prepare for construction and installation
• Install fixtures such as windows, doors, and cabinets to client specifications
• Construct building frameworks including walls, floors, and doorframes according to blueprints
• Inspect frameworks and other structures to identify damage and perform necessary repairs or replacements
• Read and interpret blueprints and building plans to ensure work meets client requirements
• Collaborate effectively with other construction professionals to complete projects on schedule
• Use hand and power tools proficiently to perform carpentry tasks safely and efficiently
• Maintain physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks throughout the workday
• Adapt to work schedules that may require hours beyond the regular workday

Required competencies and certifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor
