Positions: Junior .net developer

Employement Type : 12 month contract

Key responsibilities include

• writing clean code using technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; creating user interfaces with designers; integrating data from back-end services; ensuring cross-browser and mobile responsiveness; and optimizing for performance and SEO.  
• Develop and maintain product configuration features using JavaScript, enabling dynamic customization of web products.
• Collaborate with product managers to understand configuration requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 
• Proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese is required to communicate effectively with our stakeholders and team members.
• Implement and maintain business rules and logic for configurable products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coding and development: Writing efficient, testable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and various frameworks.
• Design and layout: Creating and modifying website layouts to match visual design intent and user experience goals.
• Integration: Merging front-end and back-end components, integrating data from various back-end services, databases, and APIs.
• User interface (UI) and user experience (UX): Collaborating with designers to implement user-friendly interfaces and ensuring technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Maintenance and optimization: Maintaining, expanding, and scaling existing websites; performing regular updates; and optimizing for speed, scalability, and SEO.
• Troubleshooting and debugging: Identifying and fixing bugs and technical issues, including cross-browser and mobile responsiveness problems.
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining software documentation.
• Collaboration: Communicating and cooperating with team members, designers, and other colleagues to ensure project alignment.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
• Document code and technical specifications for future reference and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is often preferred, or equivalent professional experience. 
• Preferable 1 to 3 years hands-on experience on Web development. Fresh graduates with relevant skills are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular is often required. Experience with JavaScript-based configuration engines or similar tools is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese (spoken and written) is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex) for handling complex configuration logic.
• Internship or project experience in software development using .NET technologies – RESTful API Experience, any JavaScript Framework .net CORE.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with databases like SQL Server or MySQL.
• Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
