Job Title: Tech Response Personnel

Department: Operations

Location: Field-Based / Hybrid (Work-from-Home Package Available)

Salary Range: $3,000 – $3,500/month

Work Type: Shift Work (including weekends/public holidays as rostered)

Job Overview:

The Tech Response Personnel plays a critical frontline role in maintaining the uptime and operational reliability of Novowatt's EV charging infrastructure. This position requires rapid response to technical issues in the field, visual inspections, and consistent monitoring of live charger performance. You will be responsible for providing timely on-site technical support and ensuring all interventions are documented clearly.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsibility Description

Charger Uptime Maintenance Monitor and ensure consistent charger availability and reliability across assigned regions.

Real-time Charger Monitoring Track live charging statuses remotely and investigate abnormalities or errors.

Fault Response & Troubleshooting React promptly to malfunctioning or offline chargers by visiting the site to resolve the issue.

Remedial Action Reporting Prepare and submit detailed reports after each intervention, outlining the issue, fix, and any follow-up needed.

Visual Equipment Checks Conduct routine visual inspections at charger locations to identify wear, damage, or tampering.

Annual Equipment Health Checks Assist or coordinate with equipment specialists for scheduled annual technical evaluations.

Requirements:

Motorbike License (Class 2B or higher) – Mandatory

Strong technical problem-solving skills

Basic IT literacy (e.g., apps for diagnostics, communication, reporting)

Good communication and documentation skills

Physically able to perform fieldwork in various conditions
