Interior Designer

Location: Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur

About Us

Red Apple Furniture is a one-stop interior solutions company specializing in custom-made cabinetry, loose furniture, and complete interior fit-out solutions. We serve residential homes, projects, offices, and other interior spaces, providing end-to-end services from design consultation and space planning to manufacturing and installation.

As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a creative and passionate Interior Designer to join our team.

Job Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their requirements, lifestyle, business needs, and project objectives.
• Prepare space planning, layout plans and 3D design proposals.
• Develop creative and practical design concepts for residential, commercial, home office, and project-based interiors.
• Produce detailed drawings for custom-made cabinetry, built-in furniture, and interior fit-out works.
• Recommend suitable materials, finishes, colours, lighting, and furniture selections.
• Revise designs according to client feedback, budget, and project requirements.
• Conduct site visits, site measurements, and coordination meetings when required.
• Coordinate closely with the sales, project, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure designs comply with functional, aesthetic, and technical requirements.
• Stay updated with the latest interior design trends, materials, and industry developments.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, and rendering software such as CooHome, Kujiale.
• Good design sense with strong space planning skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Responsible, detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
